Cambodia has banned vapes since 2014, and the temples make the export side of customs the one to think about.
- Electronic cigarettes and shisha are prohibited. The ban dates to 2014, it covers import and sale, and devices are confiscated at Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.
- Angkorian artefacts may not leave the country. Any stone carving, bronze or old statue needs clearance, and the items offered near the temples are exactly what the airport scanner is looking for.
- The allowance is 200 cigarettes and a litre or two of spirits per adult, with a value cap on other goods.
- Cash above the declarable threshold must be reported, and US dollars are used as freely as riel here, which does not exempt them.
- Drug penalties are severe and the tourist bars in Phnom Penh and Sihanoukville are watched.
