Camouflage clothing is confiscated at the airport, meat and dairy are illegal to bring in, and the declaration is filed online before you fly.
- Camouflage clothing may not be brought in or worn. It is restricted to the security forces, it is taken on arrival, and the rule applies to a toddler's shorts as much as an adult's jacket.
- Meat and dairy products are illegal to bring in. Bags are searched and banned foodstuffs are destroyed rather than returned.
- File the C5 immigration and customs form online before you arrive; it is where the declaration is made.
- Declare cash or travellers cheques worth USD 10,000 or more on the C5, and expect a second form from the Financial Investigation Division asking for the source of the money and what it is for. Not declaring it means seizure and a fine.
- Cannabis is decriminalised in small amounts but may not leave the country. Taking it to the airport is trafficking, and the dogs are at departures.
- Coral, turtle shell and wildlife products may not be exported.
