The regional picture
- Skopje serves Kosovo as well as North Macedonia. Pristina is about two hours by road and buses run frequently.
- Ohrid (OHD) has a small seasonal airport about 10 km from the town, worth hunting for if the lake is your destination, since Skopje to Ohrid is a three hour drive.
- Sofia and Thessaloniki are both within a few hours and often cheaper.
