Brussels Airport (BRU) to the city
The station is under the terminal, six trains an hour reach Brussels Central in about 18 minutes, and a 6.90 EUR airport supplement is added to the fare.
- The railway station is directly beneath the departures and arrivals halls, at level -1.
- Six direct trains an hour, from early morning until around midnight.
- Brussels North is about 11 minutes, Brussels Central about 18, Brussels South about 23.
- A Brussels Airport Supplement of 6.90 EUR applies to journeys to and from the airport station.
- It is usually already in the ticket price, and it is collected by SNCB, not by the airport.
- Two trains an hour also serve the European Quarter, which no other airport connection reaches directly.
The supplement
- 6.90 EUR, the Brussels Airport Supplement, on top of the train fare.
- It is usually included in the ticket price you are quoted, so it is not a second payment at the gate.
- Brussels Airport does not collect it. SNCB does, and it funds the tunnel and lines that brought the railway under the terminal.

- Scan the QR code on your ticket or your MOBIB card at the access gates to enter and leave the station.
Not Charleroi
- Brussels Airport is the main airport, with the station under the terminal.
- Brussels South Charleroi is a different place, significantly further out, and reaching it by train means a bus from the nearest station. Check which one your flight uses.
