Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) to the Old Town

- Fifteen days of validity on the return covers almost any holiday, so buy it on arrival unless you are leaving by ferry or hire car.
The route
- From the airport: Ploce gate at the Old Town, then Gruz bus station.
- To the airport: from Gruz, calling at Grawe station and the Cable car stop before the airport.
- Gruz is the main bus station and the ferry port; Ploce is the eastern gate of the walled city.
- From Ploce it is 25 minutes to the airport, from Gruz about 35.
Why it is timed this way
- Departures are linked to flights, not to a clock. The bus waits in the parking area before the plane lands and leaves about half an hour after arrival.
- That means a delayed flight still has a bus, which a fixed timetable service would not guarantee.
