Kuwait (KWI): which building is your flight in?
Terminal 5 is Jazeera Airways and nobody else, about 4.5 million passengers a year. Terminal 4 and the main terminal are separate approaches. Check before the driver sets off.

- The airport gives separate driving directions for each terminal, which tells you they are not one building.
- Tell the driver the terminal, not the airport.
One airline, one terminal
- Terminal 5 at Kuwait International is operated exclusively by Jazeera Airways. It exists to give that airline faster check-in, quicker transfers and shorter walks, and around 4.5 million passengers a year use it.
- If you are flying Jazeera, T5 is your building. If you are not, it is not, and there is nothing for you there.
And the others
- Terminal 4 is listed separately by the airport, with its own directions, as is the main terminal.
- The airport publishes airport directions per terminal rather than one set for the site. That is the clearest signal that arriving at the wrong one is a real journey rather than a walk.
What to do about it
- Name the terminal when you book a car or tell a driver where to go. "Kuwait airport" is not an address here.
- Allow time if you have to change terminals, particularly on a self-connected itinerary where nobody is responsible for you between the two tickets.
- Check your terminal on the booking rather than on arrival. Airlines move between terminals more often than passengers expect.
