A Kernzone hourly ticket bought in the Salzburg Verkehr app is 2.00 EUR and a 24 hour one 4.00 EUR, and both cover the airport buses.

An hour ticket for the Salzburg core zone is 2.00 EUR in the Salzburg Verkehr app, and a 24 hour ticket is 4.00 EUR.
Since 1 January 2020 a single ticket starting or ending in the city has been valid across the whole core zone, with no core zone supplement to add.
Bus 2 runs daily, every 15 to 20 minutes, to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof in about 23 minutes.
Bus 10 runs Monday to Saturday, every 15 minutes, to the city centre in about 15 minutes.
So the centre is faster than the station, which is the opposite of most airports.
On Sundays and public holidays only bus 2 runs, every 20 minutes.

Buses also run to Zell am See, Saalfelden, Bad Reichenhall and Wals from the airport, priced by zones.

The 24 hour ticket costs two hourly tickets, so it pays for itself the moment you make a return trip or a second journey.
The whole core zone is covered by one ticket if your journey starts or ends in the city, a rule in force since 1 January 2020, which removes the supplement that used to catch people out.
Journeys beyond the core zone, to Zell am See or Bad Reichenhall, are priced by the number of zones and cost more.

Bus 2 runs daily, every 15 to 20 minutes, to Salzburg Hauptbahnhof in about 23 minutes.

Buses also run to Zell am See, Saalfelden, Bad Reichenhall and Wals directly from the airport, which matters for the ski season.
