- Songshan Airport has its own metro station, BR13 on the Wenhu line, the brown line.
- It opened on 4 July 2009 with the rest of the line.
- Exit 1 is on the east side of the terminal, exit 2 on the west, and exit 3 forty metres in front of it.
- You do not leave the airport to reach the metro.
- Fares are by distance, from NT$20 for up to 5 km to NT$65 for the longest journeys.
- The EasyCard discount ended in February 2020, so a card and a single journey token now cost the same.
- An NT$8 discount applies when you combine MRT and bus within an hour.
- The MRT runs from 06:00 to midnight.
- Zhongxiao Fuxing, two stops away, is the interchange with the blue Bannan line and the way to Taipei Main Station.
- This is a city airport. Songshan handles domestic and short regional flights; long haul uses Taoyuan, 40 km west.

- The station opened on 4 July 2009 with the line.
Fares and hours
- Taipei MRT fares are charged by distance, from NT$20 for a journey of up to 5 km to NT$65 for the longest trips on the network.
- The EasyCard used to take 20 per cent off. That ended in February 2020, and a card now costs the same as a token. Use the card anyway; it is faster through the gates and works on the buses.

- The system runs 06:00 to midnight, with last trains varying by line.
Getting to the rest of Taipei
- The Wenhu line runs from Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center through Neihu, Songshan Airport, Zhongxiao Fuxing and Technology Building to Taipei Zoo.
- Zhongxiao Fuxing is the interchange with the blue Bannan line, which runs west to Taipei Main Station and the high speed rail.
- One change gets you almost anywhere in the city.
Which Taipei airport
- Songshan is the city airport, handling domestic flights and short regional services to Japan, Korea and mainland China.
- Taoyuan, code TPE, is 40 km west and takes the long haul traffic.
- They are entirely different journeys. Check the code on your ticket before setting off; TSA is twenty minutes from central Taipei and TPE is an hour.
