Vans run to the Cali bus terminal every 20 minutes. The airport is in Palmira, not Cali, which is why the taxi tariff has two parts.

The airport is at Palmaseca, in the municipality of Palmira, not in Cali.
Rapido Aeropuerto runs vans and minibuses to the Cali bus terminal, seating 17 to 25.
They leave every 20 minutes, roughly 06:00 to midnight from the airport.
Coming out to the airport they start about 03:30, which covers the earliest flights.
The trip takes 30 to 40 minutes depending on traffic.
Lineas del Valle and Expreso Palmira also run from the national arrivals hall to Palmira, Buga, Tulua, Buenaventura, Candelaria and Jamundi.
Asotaba and Expreso Siglo XXI are the authorised taxi companies, with 24 hour ranks at the arrivals exits on the first level.
A taxi into central Cali is about 70,000 pesos, 25 to 30 minutes.
The 2026 Cali taxi decree splits the airport fare in two: the Palmira authority's tariff as far as the bridge over the Cauca river, plus the meter from wherever you started in Cali.
Going out to the airport, a flat surcharge applies from Paso del Comercio, which is why an app quote and a street quote can differ.

Alfonso Bonilla Aragon sits at Palmaseca, in the municipality of Palmira, about 20 km northeast of Cali.
That matters for taxis. Two municipalities set two tariffs, and a journey between them is charged as a combination rather than on one meter.
The 2026 Cali decree spells this out: the Palmira traffic authority's fare applies as far as the bridge over the Cauca river, and Cali's meter applies from your pickup point up to that bridge. Going out from the city a flat surcharge is added from Paso del Comercio.
Ask for the total before setting off, and do not be surprised if the meter reading is not the whole of it.

Rapido Aeropuerto is the airport service, running vans and minibuses of 17 to 25 seats between the airport and the Cali bus terminal in the Sameco area.
Departures every 20 minutes.
From the airport, roughly 06:00 to midnight. Towards the airport, from about 03:30.
The journey is 30 to 40 minutes.
The Cali terminal is where you want to be dropped if you are continuing by bus, and it is a short taxi from the centre.

For Palmira in particular this is the obvious choice, because the airport is in Palmira and the taxi tariff makes a short trip oddly expensive.

Their ranks are at the exits of the national and international arrivals areas on the first level, open 24 hours.
