Cork Airport (ORK) to the city and Kinsale
Since 20 July 2026 the airport buses have carried Cork's flat 90 minute city fare: 1.70 EUR on a Leap card, 2.40 EUR in cash, and that covers any transfer you make within the next 90 minutes.
A Leap card adult fare is 1.70 EUR, cash 2.40 EUR, and it is a 90 minute fare: transfer onto as many Cork city buses as you like inside the window at no extra cost.
Young adults and students pay 0.85 EUR on Leap, children 0.55 EUR on Leap or 0.80 EUR cash, and under 8s travel free.
The 90 minute fare reached routes 225 and 226 on 20 July 2026, so the airport now costs the same as any city bus rather than an airport price.
Buy a Leap card at WHSmith in the terminal if you do not already have one. It is the cheapest fare on the network.
Routes 225 and 226 both serve the airport, running to the city centre, Parnell Place bus station and Kent railway station.
Every 30 minutes on weekdays, hourly on Sundays and public holidays, about 25 minutes to Parnell Place.
Route 226 also provides an hourly service to and from Kinsale, which is the reason many people fly here.
Route 225 comes from Haulbowline, Ringaskiddy and Carrigaline, which covers the ferry port side.

This is Cork's flat city fare, and it now applies at the airport. The TFI 90 Minute fare arrived on routes 225 and 226 on 20 July 2026, which means the ride in from the airport is priced like any other bus trip in the city.
It is a 90 minute fare, not a single. Board, then change onto as many further Cork city buses as you need within 90 minutes and pay nothing more.
The Leap card saves 0.70 EUR a trip over cash, and daily and weekly capping applies on top. You can buy one at WHSmith inside the terminal.
Kinsale is beyond the city fare. The 226 continues there and that leg is priced as a longer journey.

The 226 runs hourly to Kinsale, the harbour town south of the city.
That is a direct airport connection to one of Ireland's most visited small towns, and it saves going into Cork first.
