Rotterdam (RTM): bus 33 does everything
Bus 33 runs from the terminal to Rotterdam Centraal in about twenty minutes one way, and to Meijersplein metro station for The Hague the other. Its times are matched to metro E.

- Buses run every 10 to 15 minutes during the day, first around 05:49 and last around 00:11.
- Tickets are sold at the machines at the airport, at all metro stations and at RET service points.
- The RET 2 hour ticket is quoted at 4.50 euro, and a one hour ticket at about 4.
- A RET ticket covers bus, tram and metro in the Rotterdam area and metro E as far as Den Haag Centraal.

One bus, two directions
- Bus 33 is the airport's public transport, and there is nothing else. It is run by RET, Rotterdam's transport operator, with electric buses.
- Ride it towards the city and you are at Rotterdam Centraal in about 20 minutes.
- Ride it the other way, about 7 minutes, and you are at Meijersplein/Airport metro station. From there metro E goes south to Slinge through Rotterdam, or north to Den Haag Centraal.

- The connection at Meijersplein is deliberate. RET says bus 33's departure and arrival times correspond with metro E's, so the transfer is short by design.

Tickets
- Machines at the airport sell them, as do all metro stations and RET service points.
- The RET 2 hour ticket is quoted at 4.50 euro and a one hour ticket at about 4.00. Sources differ slightly on the exact figure and on whether the machine and the driver charge the same, so treat these as approximate.
- The ticket is valid on bus, tram and metro across the Rotterdam area, and on metro E all the way to Den Haag Centraal.
- If you are travelling outside the region, RET recommends the Tourist Day Ticket at 14.50 euro instead.
