Naama Bay is less than 15 minutes from the airport by road.
The official taxi rank is at terminal 1 and works around the clock.
Drivers commonly open at a tourist price of around 600 Egyptian pounds for that 15 minute run.
The local going rate is reported nearer 350 pounds, and some sources put a local taxi as low as 50 to 100.
Haggling is expected here, and starting from the higher figure is normal practice rather than a scam in itself.
A blue public minibus waits outside the airport gate, roughly every 30 minutes.
A seat on it is about 10 pounds.
It takes about 40 minutes because it calls at resorts on the way.
Private minibuses also wait outside terminal 1 with no fixed stops; agree and pay the fare in advance.

Sharm is a resort town rather than a city, and its districts are strung along the coast: Naama Bay, Hadaba, Nabq and Sharks Bay.
Which one your hotel is in changes the journey and the price. Nabq is considerably further from the airport than Naama Bay, and a quote for one is not a quote for the other.
