Vilnius Airport (VNO) to the city
Among the cheapest airport transfers in Europe, with one trap: the ticketing apps require a Lithuanian phone number.
- The airport is about 6 km from the centre and the transfer is genuinely cheap.
- A 30-minute ticket costs EUR 0.65 and a 60-minute one EUR 0.90; a day ticket is EUR 5.00.
- The m.Ticket and Trafi apps need a Lithuanian phone number. Every guide recommends them and no visitor can register for them.
- Tap a contactless bank card on the validator instead. It works, needs nothing installed, and is what you should plan to do.
- Bus 3G is the express, every 10 minutes; 88 is the ordinary route and 88N runs 22:30 to 05:30.
Getting into Vilnius
Vilnius Airport sits about 6 km south of the old town, and the public transport into the city is among the cheapest of any European capital.

The trap is in how you buy them. JUDU's own guidance says the m.Ticket and Trafi apps require a Lithuanian phone number - which is exactly what a visitor does not have, and exactly what almost every travel guide tells you to install.
- Tap a contactless bank card on the validator on board. No app, no registration, no local number.
- The Narvesen shop in the terminal also sells tickets if you would rather hold something.

Taxis
- Bolt is ubiquitous and cheap and is what residents use.
- Use the app rather than the rank. The distance is short and the app price removes any argument about it.
