Clark (CRK): the bus to Manila leaves from the arrivals area
Clark is not Manila and never pretends to be. The P2P buses from the Terminal 2 arrival area cover the whole of central Luzon for a few hundred pesos, and Angeles City is fifteen minutes away.
- Clark is about 80 km north of Manila. The bus takes 2 to 3 hours on the expressway, traffic depending.
- Angeles City is only 10 to 15 minutes away by car, and SM Clark about 15 minutes.
- The P2P buses board at the Terminal 2 arrival area bus station.
- Genesis Transport runs the Manila routes, Victory Liner the Olongapo one.
- Fares to Manila: PITX 480 pesos regular or 520 on the JoyBus, NAIA Terminal 3 450, Cubao and Trinoma 350.
- Baguio is 507 pesos on regular aircon, 560 to 695 on the JoyBus classes, and 3 to 4 hours.
- Olongapo is 258 pesos with Victory Liner, about 1.5 hours via Dau.
- Balanga is 320 pesos.
- Departures run through the night, with PITX services from 04:00 and NAIA services from midnight.
- Grab operates at Clark and quotes upfront, and there are accredited taxis at arrivals.
- The current terminal opened on 2 May 2022, built for about 12 million passengers a year, so descriptions of the old building are out of date.
The buses, which are the point of this airport
- Boarding is at the Terminal 2 arrival area bus station, so you walk out of arrivals to the bus rather than hunting for it.
- Genesis Transport runs the Manila services, Victory Liner the Olongapo route.

- The NAIA and PITX services run through the night, which is the useful part: a 2am arrival at Clark is not stranded.
- Most Manila services stop at SM Clark on the way, and the Cubao service also calls at Trinoma.
- Schedules change. Genesis publishes updates on its own channels, and the fare classes shift, so treat the numbers above as the shape rather than the gospel.
Not Manila
- 80 km north, 2 to 3 hours by road via the expressways. Clark is a Manila alternative on price, not on location, and the transfer is a real part of the journey.
- If Manila is your actual destination and the fare difference is small, NAIA is closer. If you are heading to Baguio, Subic, Bataan or anywhere in central and northern Luzon, Clark is genuinely better placed.
Angeles City and around
- Angeles City is 10 to 15 minutes by car. A lot of Clark passengers never go further.
- SM Clark is about 15 minutes.
- Grab operates at Clark with an upfront fare, and there are accredited taxis at arrivals.
The terminal
- The current passenger terminal opened on 2 May 2022, designed for about 12 million passengers a year. Older guides describe a much smaller building.
- The route map is a mix: Cebu Pacific, Philippine Airlines and PAL Express domestically, with HK Express to Hong Kong, Scoot to Singapore, EVA Air and Starlux to Taipei and Qatar Airways to Doha.
- Cebu Pacific launched a direct Clark to Hanoi service in 2026, three times a week, which is the kind of route that makes Clark worth checking rather than assuming Manila.
