Jeju (CJU): Limousine Bus 600 to Jungmun and Seogwipo

Route 600 leaves from in front of Gate 5, runs 06:00 to 22:40 every 16 to 40 minutes, and calls at every resort hotel in Jungmun.

  • Limousine Bus 600 is the airport bus, and its stop is in front of Gate 5.
  • First bus from the airport 06:00, last bus 22:40, towards Seogwipo KAL Hotel.
  • Every 16 to 40 minutes, operated by Samyeong Transportation.
  • The route is Jeju International Airport to Jungmun to Seogwipo, right across the island to the south coast.
  • It stops at the Jungmun resort hotels one by one: Grand Josun, Parnas, The Shilla, The Suites, Bloom, Lotte, Kensington.
  • It also calls at the Jeju International Convention Centre, Yakcheonsa, Daepo Harbour and Jeju World Cup Stadium.
  • The fare rises with the distance you travel, so the far end costs more than Jungmun.
  • There is no railway on Jeju. Buses and cars are the whole system.

One bus, the whole south coast

  • Route 600 is the Limousine Bus, and if you are staying anywhere on the south of the island it is almost certainly your bus.
  • It leaves from in front of Gate 5 at the airport. That is the instruction that matters, because the ordinary city buses use different stops.
  • First departure 06:00, last departure 22:40, towards the Seogwipo KAL Hotel, running every 16 to 40 minutes.
  • Samyeong Transportation operates it, and the airport publishes the whole stop list.

Where it actually stops

  • Jeju International Airport, Jeju Sun Hotel, Halla Hospital, Jeongjon Village, Donggwang Transit Station, Chang-cheon-ri, Unam-dong, Yerae Entrance.
  • Then the Jungmun resort strip: Jungmun Resort Entrance, Jungmun Resort, Grand Josun Jeju, Parnas Hotel Jeju, The Shilla Hotel, The Suites Hotel, Bloom Jeju Hotel, Lotte Hotel, Kensington Resort Jeju Jungmun, Little Prince Museum, The Seaes Hotel, Jeju International Convention Center.
  • Then the coast into Seogwipo: Daepo Harbour, Baeteungae Entrance, Yakcheonsa, Wolpyeong Village, Gangjeong, Wangdaewat, Kensington Resort, Seokeondo, Jeju World Cup Stadium, Saetgijeong Park, Seogwipo Harbour, Seobok Exhibition, Paradise Hotel Entrance, and finally Seogwipo KAL Hotel.
  • If your hotel is in Jungmun, it is on this list. The bus stops at the door.

The fare

  • It goes up with distance, and continues to rise after a transfer, so the price to Seogwipo is not the price to Jungmun.
  • Pay by transport card as everywhere in Korea. T-money and Cashbee work here and are the easy option.

Getting your bearings

  • The airport is on the north coast, in Jeju City. Seogwipo is on the south coast. The island is about 40 minutes across by road.
  • Jeju is Korea's holiday island and this is one of the busiest air routes in the world - Seoul Gimpo to Jeju regularly tops the global list for passengers on a single city pair.
  • There is no train. Buses, taxis and hire cars are the entire menu, and in high season the hire cars sell out.
