Kardla (KDL): the bus leaves town 50 minutes before the flight
The county bus from Kardla bus station is timed to the departure, not to a clock. It costs two euro, or nothing at all if you are young enough or old enough.
The county bus leaves Kardla bus station 50 minutes before the flight departs.
Its route is Kardla bus station, Keskvaljak, Padu, Linnumae, Airport.
The stop is in front of the airport passenger terminal.
The fare is 2.00 EUR in cash or by bank card from the driver.
1.50 EUR with a pre-charged Uhiskaart, which must already hold the amount.
Passengers up to and including 19, and anyone 63 or over, ride free, along with people with reduced working capacity.
Three services run: line 6241 at 07:40 (Mon to Fri), line 6242 at 17:10 (Mon to Fri and Sun), line 6243 at 09:25 (Sat).
The ride is about 25 minutes from the bus station to the airport.

Passengers on affected flights are notified by the airline by SMS.
Parking is free, 37 spaces in front of the terminal and in the garage beside it.
The airport is about 6 km from the town centre.
Arrive 45 minutes before departure if driving, which the airport asks for explicitly.
The bus
It is a county bus, operated by AS Hansabuss for the Hiiumaa Rural Municipality Government, not an airport shuttle company.
It leaves Kardla bus station 50 minutes before the flight departs, running via Keskvaljak, Padu and Linnumae to the airport.
The stop at the airport is in front of the passenger terminal.

Car and taxi
Parking is free, with 37 spaces in front of the terminal and in the garage next to it.
The airport asks drivers to be there 45 minutes before departure.
Taxis drop off in front of the terminal. The airport lists two individual drivers rather than a company, which tells you the scale of the island.
Kardla Airport is about 6 km from the town centre.
