Parnu (EPU): a short taxi ride, and the car park is free
Parnu Airport is about seven kilometres out and the taxi in is seven to ten euro. Unlike Tartu and Kuressaare, the car park here is still free of charge.
- The airport is about 7 km from Parnu city centre.
- Average taxi fares are around 7 to 10 EUR.
- Taxis drop off right in front of the terminal.
- Parking is free of charge. The airport says so plainly.
- The car park is unattended and sits right in front of the terminal building.
- That is worth noting alongside its sister airports. Tartu has charged since March 2025 and Kuressaare since July 2026; Parnu has not followed.
- The airport's own page lists car and taxi only. No bus is described.
- This is a small seasonal field. Parnu is Estonia's summer resort town, and traffic follows that.
- Plan your ground transport before you land, because with no bus listed the taxi is the whole plan.
Getting into Parnu
- The airport is about 7 km from the city centre.
- A taxi is around 7 to 10 EUR and drops you right in front of the terminal.
- The airport's page describes car and taxi only. There is no bus service listed, so unless you have confirmed one independently, treat the taxi as the plan rather than the fallback.
Parking
- Free of charge, in an unattended lot right in front of the terminal building.
- This is now the exception rather than the rule in the group. Tartu has charged for parking since 1 March 2025 and Kuressaare since 1 July 2026. Parnu and Kardla are still free.
What kind of airport this is
- Parnu is Estonia's main summer resort town, on the Gulf of Riga, and the airport is small and seasonal to match.
- Ground handling and services are limited. Do not plan a tight connection or assume a staffed desk outside flight times.
