- Between the domestic and international terminals: about 5 minutes, $5.00 one way.

The fare, which is the fact
- Airtrain between Brisbane Airport and Brisbane City is $23.30 for an adult and free for children aged 14 and under.
- To any other South East Queensland station it is $23.80 for an adult and $0.50 for a child.
- Pre-booking online brings discounts, with tickets advertised from as little as $10.95 and a 15 per cent saving on some fares.
- That price is why a family of four often takes a car and a couple often takes the train. Do the arithmetic before you assume.
The terminal transfer
- A one-way transfer between the domestic and international terminals is $5.00, and takes about 5 minutes.
- That is the cheapest way between the two, and it is a genuinely useful thing to know on a self-connected itinerary.
Finding the station
- At the Domestic Terminal, go out to the front of the building and take the Skywalk across to the station.
- At the International Terminal, take the travelator or lift to Level 3 and follow the signs.
Hours
- Airtrain runs between 04:30 and 22:00, every 15 minutes at peak times.
- Outside those hours it is a taxi or a rideshare. A late arrival from Asia lands after the last train more often than not.
Further afield
- Airtrain continues to the Gold Coast, which is the reason a lot of arrivals use it, and it goes there without changing in Brisbane.
