Cukurova replaced Adana Sakirpasa on 11 August 2024. Havamas runs hourly shuttles to Adana and Mersin and a frequent service to Tarsus.

Cukurova replaced Adana Sakirpasa. Sakirpasa closed to commercial airlines at 00:00 on 11 August 2024 and Cukurova opened at 12:00 the same day.
Any booking or guide naming Adana Sakirpasa, code ADA, is out of date. All flights use Cukurova, code COV.
The airport sits between Adana, Mersin and Tarsus and is not in any of them.
Havamas is the airport shuttle operator.
Adana city centre: 400 lira, hourly between 00:00 and 23:00, about 60 minutes.
Mersin: 455 lira, hourly between 00:00 and 23:00, about 90 minutes.
Tarsus: 265 lira, about 45 minutes, with fourteen departures a day.
Longer routes run to Osmaniye by way of Ceyhan at 610 lira, to Taskucu by way of Erdemli, Kizkalesi and Silifke at 860, and to Hatay by way of Dortyol, Iskenderun and Belen at 910.
Children under six travel free on a lap and six to twelve at half price.

Adana Sakirpasa closed to all commercial airlines at midnight on 11 August 2024.
Cukurova International opened at noon the same day, and every airline moved.
Sakirpasa still exists and is used for training and general aviation, including a flight academy, but no scheduled flight lands there.
If your booking or your guidebook says Adana Sakirpasa or ADA, it is describing the old arrangement. The airport you are flying to is Cukurova, COV.

Cukurova was built between Adana, Mersin and Tarsus rather than beside any of them.
Tarsus is closest, about 45 minutes.
Adana is about 60 minutes and Mersin about 90.
That is a longer transfer than Sakirpasa needed for Adana, which was the main objection to the move, and it is worth building into a schedule.

The Adana and Mersin services run round the clock, which is what makes this airport workable for a night arrival.

Reckon on 20 to 30 minutes to Tarsus, 30 to 40 to Mersin and 45 to 55 to Adana.
New motorway sections were built to serve the airport, which is why the road times are as good as they are for the distances involved.
