The Ruta Express links the airport with the Y Griega metro station. Grupo Senda and Noreste run intercity coaches from the terminal itself.

The public transport link is the Ruta Express "Aeropuerto - Y Griega". It runs between the airport and the Y Griega metro station, along avenida Miguel Aleman.
Y Griega is on the Monterrey metro, so from there you are on the city network.
The metro does not reach the airport itself. The express bus is the connection.
Long-distance coaches leave from the terminal. Grupo Senda sells at counters in terminals A and B and runs to Saltillo, Linares, Matehuala, Monclova, Montemorelos, Santa Catarina, Laredo, Piedras Negras, Ramos Arizpe, Reynosa and Sabinas, 08:00 to 23:30.
Noreste runs from the airport to the central bus station, selling in terminals A and C, 07:00 to 02:00.
That is unusual and useful: if your destination is another northern city, you may not need to go into Monterrey at all.
Authorised taxi and transfer companies work from the terminals; price depends on the company, not on a fixed tariff.
For the 2026 World Cup the airport added dedicated routes to the stadium, Parque Fundidora and the hotel zone.

The airport's public transport connection is the Ruta Express "Aeropuerto - Y Griega". It starts at the Y Griega metro station and runs out along avenida Miguel Aleman to the terminals.
Y Griega is on the Monterrey metro network, which is what makes this work: one bus, then the metro to wherever you are staying.
The metro itself does not come to the airport. Monterrey's lines stop well short of it.

Two intercity coach operators sell tickets inside the terminal and depart from it.
Grupo Senda, at counters in terminals A and B, runs to Saltillo, Linares, Matehuala, Monclova, Montemorelos, Santa Catarina, Laredo, Piedras Negras, Ramos Arizpe, Reynosa and Sabinas, between 08:00 and 23:30.
Noreste, in terminals A and C, runs to the central bus station in Monterrey, between 07:00 and 02:00.
If you are heading on to another city in the north, this saves a trip into Monterrey and out again. Saltillo in particular is an easy onward hop.

The airport lists authorised taxi and transport companies which run city to airport and back. The price and the class of service depend on the company you book, not on a published tariff.
Book at the counter in arrivals rather than accepting an offer in the hall.

For the World Cup, dedicated routes run from the airport to the stadium, Parque Fundidora and the hotel zone. These are additional to the normal service and tied to the tournament.

Monterrey is Mexico's third-busiest airport and a major domestic hub, roughly 24 km north-east of the city centre.
It has three terminals, A, B and C, and the coach counters are split across them, so check which terminal your operator uses before walking.
