The Airport Express costs 8 EUR on the bus or 7 EUR booked in advance, and it calls at Santa Claus Village as well as the railway station.

The ticket is 8 EUR bought on the bus, or 7 EUR bought in advance as an Airport Express ticket.
The bus calls at Santa Claus Village on the way between the airport and Rovaniemi railway station.
That is the Arctic Circle stop, and it means you can go straight there from the plane with your bags.
Rovaniemi railway station is the other end, with night trains to Helsinki.
Connections continue to Pyha-Luosto and to Ruka in Kuusamo, the ski resorts.
Tickets can be bought on the bus, so arriving without one is not a problem.

One euro is a small saving, but the advance ticket also guarantees you are counted for the departure.

The Airport Express calls there between the airport and the town, which very few airport buses anywhere manage: a major attraction on the airport route itself.
The village sits on the Arctic Circle, about 8 km north of Rovaniemi.
Left luggage at the village makes a stop on the way in workable if your hotel check in is later.

Buses continue to Pyha-Luosto and to Ruka in Kuusamo, the two nearest ski areas.
Rovaniemi railway station has the Helsinki night train, with car carriage, which is how many Finns arrive.
