Express 4 goes to the centre of Timisoara and Express 4b to the central railway station, both for 4 lei.

- E4 goes to the centre of Timisoara.
- E4b, the barred version, goes to the central railway station instead.
- Read the letter, not just the number. Two buses marked 4 go to different places.
- STPT runs both, as part of the city network rather than as an airport product.
- Four lei is under one euro, which makes a taxi hard to justify here.

- The distinction is the whole trick at Timisoara. A traveller heading for a train who boards E4 ends up in the wrong part of town.
- Timisoara Nord is the main station, with trains to Bucharest, Arad and across the border into Hungary and Serbia.
Buying
- STPT sells tickets through its own channels, and the buses take contactless.
- Four lei is the same fare as an ordinary city journey, so there is no airport premium.
