Aalborg (AAL): there is a train station at the airport
Aalborg Lufthavn station is a short walk from the terminal and the ride into the city is about eleven minutes. Buses run several times an hour on the same kind of fare.

- NT always charges for a minimum of two zones, so there is no cheaper one zone hop.

- A paying adult may take up to two children under 12 free, and bicycles ride free on NT buses when there is room, two per bus.

The train
- Aalborg Lufthavn station is close enough to walk, a few hundred metres between the platform and check-in. The airport's own page makes a point of this.
- The ride into the city is about 11 minutes, which makes the train the fastest way in.
- Coming from the south you can ride straight through to the airport without changing in Aalborg.
- Fares work on the North Jutland zone system. You pay for a minimum of two zones, so a short adult journey starts at about 24 DKK.
The bus
- Buses leave several times an hour from the airport bus station.
- Route 70 runs to the centre, dropping you a short walk from the main square.
- The bus fare is the same zone fare as the train, and one published figure for the exact airport to centre hop is 18.30 DKK.

- Cash is accepted on all NT buses except Plusbus. Cards work on Aalborg city buses, express buses and regional buses.
- A single ticket for one or two zones is valid 60 minutes and you only have to have boarded before it expires.
Two things NT lets you do free
- One paying adult or pensioner may bring up to two children under 12 at no charge.
- Bicycles travel free when there is space, up to two per bus.
