Krakow Airport (KRK) to the city

- Koleje Malopolskie runs the SKA1 line, with air conditioning, wifi, power sockets and at least 138 seats per train.
- The station is adjacent to the terminal, behind the multi-storey car park, reached by a covered footbridge. No shuttle bus.
- Ticket machines on board take cash or cards, which removes the usual worry about buying before you board.
The Wieliczka trick
- The SKA1 does not terminate in Krakow. It continues to Wieliczka Rynek Kopalnia, the stop for the salt mine.
- That is a direct train from the airport to one of Poland's most visited sights, for 24.00 PLN.
- The whole run takes 44 minutes end to end, against just under 20 minutes airport to city.
