A POLREGIO train reaches central Rzeszow in 18 minutes for 4.30 PLN, from a station three minutes from the terminal. The buses take twice as long.

  • The train is 4.30 PLN and reaches the centre of Rzeszow in 18 minutes.
  • The station is a 3 minute walk from the terminal.
  • The bus takes about 35 minutes, depending on traffic, from a stop in front of the terminal.
  • So the train is twice as fast, and the walk to it is shorter than the wait for a bus.
  • School students pay 2.71 PLN, college students 2.11 PLN, and children under 4 travel free.
  • Line 51 goes to Bardowskiego Street; yellow lines 224 and 225 go to the main bus station.

The buses, if you need them

  • Line 51 runs from the airport to Bardowskiego Street in the city centre. Tickets from the machine in the terminal, or from the machine on board, in cash or by card.
  • Lines 224 and 225, the yellow MKS services, run to the main bus station at Artura Grottgera 1. Tickets from the driver, cash in zloty only.
  • The stop is in front of the terminal, so the buses are easier to find than the station.

One caution

  • The airport warns it is not responsible for changes to the bus timetable, which is a polite way of saying check before relying on it.
