Goiania (GYN): the cheap car park is booking-only, and you have ten minutes to reach it before the booking dies
Indigo runs two car parks at Goiania. The economy one exists only as an online booking and voids itself if you do not reach its own barrier within ten minutes of entering the site. The airport itself publishes a bus, a taxi co-operative and no ride-hailing app.
- The airport is 8 km from the centre of Goiania, at Alameda 4, Setor Aeroporto Internacional Santa Genoveva, CEP 74672-856.
- The general aviation terminal is a different address: Praca Cap. Frazao 913, Santa Genoveva, 74672-410. Do not let a driver take you there.
- Parking is run by Indigo: 971 spaces, open 24 hours every day, with direct access to the departures terminal.
- Car park B, the Bolsao Economico, exists only as an online booking. A rotating ticket will not get you in.
- You have 10 minutes from entering the site to pass the Bolsao B barrier. Miss it and the booking is void and you pay the rotating tariff.
- You must also leave through the Bolsao B barrier, and then clear the site within 10 minutes. Overrun and the excess is billed at the rotating tariff.
- The booking carries 60 minutes of tolerance either side, but only if both ten minute rules were respected.
- Indigo quotes daily rates from R$39.90 for car park A (VIP, shaded) and from R$37.38 for Bolsao B, and says the rates move with demand.
- The operator's own panel says a parking booking must be made online at least one hour in advance.
- The bus is the Rede Metropolitana de Transporte Coletivo "Circular Aeroporto", boarding at the Marquise Central, enquiries 0800 648 2222.
- The taxi is Coopertag, inside the passenger terminal, 24 hours, on (62) 99611-2199.
- The operator names no ride-hailing company. The transport page has tabs for parking, public transport, taxi and car hire, and nothing for apps. Uber's own airport page does list GYN.
- The airport passed from CCR to the Motiva brand; the site now lives at aeroportos.motiva.com.br and staff addresses are @motiva.com.br.
The car park that cancels itself
- Parking at Santa Genoveva is run by Indigo: 971 spaces, 24 hours a day, every day, with direct access to the departures terminal.
- There are two products. Car park A is the VIP one, covered by shading, with drive-up access. Car park B, the Bolsao Economico, is sold only as an online booking and cannot be entered on a rotating ticket.
- The Bolsao B rules are unusually sharp, and Indigo publishes them:
- From entering the site you have 10 minutes to pass the Bolsao B barrier. After that the booking loses its validity and you pay the current rotating tariff instead.
- You must leave through the Bolsao B barrier, and once through it you have 10 minutes to clear the site. Longer, and the excess is charged at the rotating tariff.
- The booking has 60 minutes of tolerance for arriving early or late and 60 minutes after it ends, but that tolerance only applies if both ten minute rules were met.
- Refund requests where the rules were broken go to Indigo's own customer service, case by case.
- Indigo quotes daily rates from R$39.90 for car park A and from R$37.38 for Bolsao B, and states that the rates adjust with demand, so treat both as floors rather than prices.
- The airport's own parking panel adds that an online booking must be made at least one hour in advance.
Getting into Goiania
- The airport is 8 km from the city centre. The commercial terminal is at Alameda 4, Setor Aeroporto Internacional Santa Genoveva, CEP 74672-856; the old terminal, used by general aviation and NAV Brasil, is a separate address at Praca Cap. Frazao 913.
- Bus: the operator names the Rede Metropolitana de Transporte Coletivo, "Circular Aeroporto", boarding at the Marquise Central outside the terminal, with enquiries on 0800 648 2222. It publishes no line number, no fare and no timetable.
- Taxi: Coopertag, based in the passenger terminal, 24 hours, on (62) 99611-2199.
- Car hire: Localiza, Movida and Unidas on the ground floor near arrivals; Unidas is staffed 05:00 to 01:00.
No app is named
- The transport page has four tabs: parking, public transport, taxi and car hire. There is no ride-hailing tab and no app company is named anywhere on it, which is unlike Florianopolis, where the operator names its Uber contract and its signposted app points.
- Uber's own airport page does list GYN at Alameda 4, so the absence is the operator's silence rather than a ban. Expect no signposted app pick-up point.
One naming detail
- CCR won the Central block at the sixth airport concession round in 2021 and took over in 2022. The group now trades as Motiva: the website redirects to aeroportos.motiva.com.br and airport addresses are @motiva.com.br, while some page titles still say CCR.
