- At Acesso Norte it meets line 1, which carries on into the centre and to Lapa.

Fares
- The metro fare is 4.10 reais, set by the state government.
- An integrated fare covering the metro plus city buses, the STEC and the BRT is 5.90 reais.
- For a journey of this length in a city this size, that is very cheap, and it is much the best way in from the airport.
Practical notes
- Look for the transfer bus rather than a metro entrance when you leave the terminal. There is no station in the building.
- Line 2 does not reach the historic centre directly. Change at Acesso Norte for line 1 and the Pelourinho end of the city.
