Getting from Ronneby Airport to the city

Pre-book the taxi

• This is the headline at Ronneby. Swedavia says on its own taxi page that it is strongly recommended to pre-book, because it can sometimes be difficult to find available taxis coming to the airport.
• Airport operators rarely say this. When they do, it is because arrivals have been left standing.
• The pickup area is to the left outside the arrivals hall. Pre-booked cars queue in the lane closest to the building; unbooked cars use the lane on the right.

The airport coach

• Trossotaxi runs a coach between Ronneby Airport and central Karlskrona.
• The timetable is adapted to the airport's arrivals and departures, so it is built around the flights rather than a clock.
• Payment is by credit or debit card, by Swish, or in cash.
• Stops along the way, times and prices are published by Trossotaxi, which Swedavia links to rather than reproducing.

Scheduled buses

• Blekingetrafiken is the regional public transport operator. Its site lists which buses stop at Ronneby Airport and where they go.
• Tickets are sold at Blekingetrafiken's regular sales points, on the bus, in its app and on its website.

Where this is

• The airport is at Kallinge, just north of Ronneby, in Blekinge.
• Karlskrona is about 30 km east and is what most arrivals are aiming for: the Swedish naval city, a UNESCO World Heritage site, and the ferry port for Gdynia.

Taxi pricing

• Sweden's taxi market is deregulated. Companies set their own fares and you may choose any car rather than the first in the queue.
• Comparative prices for a standard 10 km, 15 minute journey must be displayed in black digits on a yellow background.
• An agreed fixed price must be entered in the meter before departure.
