Corfu Airport (CFU) to the town and the port
The Corfu city bus serves the airport from a stop in front of Terminal Building A, running through the intercity bus station and San Rocco to the port.
- The stop is in front of Terminal Building A, not around the side.
- Line 15 is the airport route, run by the Corfu urban bus company.
- It runs airport to intercity bus station to San Rocco square to the port.
- San Rocco is the town centre stop, and the one most arrivals want.
- The port is the end of the line, which matters if you are taking a ferry to Italy or the mainland.
- The taxi rank is opposite Terminal Building A.
The route
- The airport, the intercity bus station, San Rocco square, the port. Line 15 links all four, which is unusually complete for a Greek island airport bus.
- San Rocco square is in the centre of Corfu town.
- The intercity bus station is where the green KTEL coaches leave for the rest of the island.
- The port is where the ferries to Italy, Igoumenitsa and Paxos sail from.
Tickets
- The Corfu urban bus company runs a smart card and vending machine system, and fares are set by ministerial decision.
- Neither the airport nor the operator publishes the airport fare on the pages the airport links to, so check at the machine or with the driver.
The distance
- The airport is barely 3 km from Corfu town, at the edge of the lagoon, which is why the walk is sometimes suggested. With luggage, in August, it is not a good idea.
