- Kardamena departures run Monday to Saturday at 08:35, 09:35, 11:05, 13:35, 15:05, 17:05, 19:15 and 21:35, and on Sundays at 09:35, 13:35 and 17:35.
- The stop is 50 metres from the terminal building.
- Tickets are bought from the driver.
- Kardamena and Mastichari are resorts on opposite coasts, both reachable without going into Kos town.
- Mastichari is the port for Kalymnos, which the bus reaches directly.

- Cash only. KTEL on Kos does not accept cards, and there is no machine at the stop.
- The airport does not publish a fare table, so these are the figures island guides carry rather than an official price list. Carry a little more.
- Forty minutes to Kos town is longer than most people expect from an island airport, because the airport sits in the middle of the island rather than beside the capital.
Four destinations, no change needed
- Kos town, Mastichari, Kardamena and Kefalos are all served directly.
- Kardamena and Mastichari are on opposite coasts, so a resort holiday needs no trip into town.
- Mastichari is the port for Kalymnos, reached directly by the same bus.
