Kalamata Airport (KLX) to Kalamata and the Messinian coast
KTEL Messinias runs the coaches from Kalamata, and unusually for Greece it publishes a full fare table.
- KTEL Messinias publishes its fares, which most Greek coach operators do not.
- Pylos is 5.50 EUR and Koroni 6.00 EUR from Kalamata, both classic Messinian coast destinations.
- Methoni is 7.30 EUR, Finikounta 9.30 EUR and Kyparissia 8.50 EUR.
- Athens is 26.60 EUR and Patras 27.80 EUR, both long coach journeys.
- Tripoli is 9.70 EUR, the connection for the rest of the Peloponnese.
- The bus station is at Artemidos 7, Kalamata, which is where the onward coaches leave from.

The airport
- Kalamata Airport is about 8 km west of the town, near Messini.
