The BRT

  • Trans Semarang runs two corridors to the airport.
  • The fare is 3,500 rupiah, or 1,000 for students and pensioners. That is as cheap as airport transport gets anywhere.
  • Corridor V runs 05:30 to 18:30 and calls at Simpang Lima, the central square.
  • A dedicated airport to Simpang Lima corridor runs 18:00 to midnight, which is unusually thoughtful: between the two, the airport is covered from before dawn until after midnight.
  • The buses stop at main points and do not go to hotels, so allow for a short walk or a ride hailing hop at the end.
