Pune Airport (PNQ) to the city

PMPML runs a bus between the airport and the metro. The original Ramwadi feeder is reported discontinued and METRO19 to Yerwada is the current link.

The metro does not reach the airport. A PMPML bus links it to a metro station instead.
METRO19 runs between the airport and Yerwada metro station, about every 30 minutes.
From the airport it runs 06:30 to 21:40, and from Yerwada 07:00 to 22:10.
Four daily workings run through to Pune station: from the airport at 13:00, 13:30, 22:10 and 22:40.
Coming out to the airport those run at 05:50, 06:20, 15:00 and 15:30.
An earlier feeder to Ramwadi metro station launched in September 2024, at 5 rupees for the first stops and 10 beyond.
That Ramwadi service is reported discontinued for want of passengers, so check before relying on it.
PMPML fares on these routes are in single figures, which is as cheap as an airport transfer gets anywhere.
The airport is at Lohegaon, on the north east edge of the city, sharing the runway with an air force base.
Ola, Uber, prepaid taxis and an auto rickshaw union all operate from the terminal.

Pune's metro does not come to the airport. The link is a PMPML bus to a metro station, and which station that is has already changed once.
METRO19 is the current service, running between the airport and Yerwada metro station about every 30 minutes.

In September 2024 Pune Metro and PMPML launched a feeder between Ramwadi metro station and the airport.
It charged 5 rupees for the first few stops and 10 beyond, ran every 40 minutes, and covered about 4 km with 11 to 15 stops by way of Vadgaon Sheri Phata, Viman Nagar Corner, Chandan Nagar and Symbiosis College.
It is now reported as discontinued because too few people used it.
Both services are worth checking on the day. A route this new and this lightly used is not a fixed feature, and guides describing the Ramwadi bus are describing something that may no longer run.

Ola and Uber operate from the airport.
A prepaid taxi desk and an auto rickshaw union counter both sit in the terminal, the auto counter staffed around the clock.
The airport is at Lohegaon on the north eastern edge of Pune, sharing its runway with an air force station, which is why the civil terminal is small for a city this size.
A new airport at Purandar has been announced for years and is not open; flights all use Lohegaon.
