Almeria Airport (LEI) to the city
City line 30 runs between the airport and Almeria all year for the ordinary urban fare of 1.05 EUR, taking about 35 minutes.
- The fare is 1.05 EUR, the ordinary Almeria city fare, paid to the driver on board.
- Line 30 runs Almeria to the airport to Retamar, 365 days a year.
- The journey is about 35 minutes, because the line serves the city on the way.
- The airport is 9 km east of Almeria, close enough that a city bus makes sense.
- A ten journey bonobus is 4.45 EUR, with a three euro deposit on the card.
- There is no airport surcharge. The bus that stops at the terminal is the same one Almeria uses.
An ordinary city bus
- 1.05 EUR. Surbus calls it the ordinary ticket and it is bought on the bus, paid to the driver.
- Line 30 runs Almeria to airport to Retamar, every day of the year.
- Thirty five minutes to the city centre, which is slower than the distance suggests because the route makes city stops.
If you are staying longer
- The ten journey bonobus is 4.45 EUR, which is 45 cents a ride.
- The card costs a three euro deposit and the first top up, bought at the Surbus kiosk on avenida Federico Garcia Lorca.
- For a couple staying a few days, the card pays for itself quickly, though a one off airport run does not justify it.
