Ibiza Airport (IBZ) to the town and the resorts
The AERO lines fan out to Ibiza town, Sant Antoni, Santa Eularia and Platja d en Bossa, and what you pay depends entirely on how you pay.
- Cash on board costs 4.90 EUR for the ride a card or QR ticket buys for 3.50 EUR.
- On the longer routes the gap is wider still: 5.60 EUR cash against 4.00 EUR by card.
- On the general travel card the same trip is 1.20 EUR to Ibiza town, or 2.00 EUR on the longer routes.
- AERO3 is the Ibiza town express, straight to the centre and the port.
- AERO1 serves Sant Antoni, AERO4 Santa Eularia and Es Canar, AERO5 Platja d en Bossa and Figueretes.
- So the resorts are reachable without changing in Ibiza town, which is what most arrivals get wrong.
What you pay depends on how you pay
| Route | Cash | Card or QR | General card |
|---|---|---|---|
| AERO3, Ibiza town and port | 4.90 EUR | 3.50 EUR | 1.20 EUR |
| AERO2, Es Tabaquet and CETIS | 4.90 EUR | 3.50 EUR | 1.20 EUR |
| AERO5, Platja d en Bossa and Figueretes | 4.90 EUR | 3.50 EUR | 2.00 EUR |
| AERO1, Sant Antoni | 5.60 EUR | 4.00 EUR | 2.00 EUR |
| AERO4, Santa Eularia and Es Canar | 5.60 EUR | 4.00 EUR | 2.00 EUR |
- The cash price is a penalty, not a fare. Tapping a bank card or buying a QR ticket is 1.40 EUR to 1.60 EUR cheaper on every route.
- The general card price is for the island travel card, which is worth it only for a longer stay.
- A reduced Plata fare exists at half the general card price for those entitled to it.
Going straight to the resort
- AERO1 to Sant Antoni and AERO4 to Santa Eularia and Es Canar run from 1 April 2026.
- AERO5 covers Platja d en Bossa and Ses Figueretes, the closest resort strip to the runway.
- AERO3 is the express into Ibiza town, ending at the port where the Formentera ferries leave.
- Changing in Ibiza town is unnecessary for any of these, and in August it is a bad idea.
