Palma de Mallorca Airport (PMI) to Palma and the resorts
The A1 into Palma costs 5.00 EUR unless you arrive on a TIB bus, when it drops to 1.15; residents pay 1.00.
- A single on the A1 or A2 is 5.00 EUR for a visitor. Residents with a citizen card pay 1.00 EUR.
- Arriving on a TIB regional bus brings it down to 1.15 EUR, because the transfer is priced rather than the ride.
- A1 goes to Palma centre and A2 to S Arenal, both boarding at the terminal, roughly hourly. To the city from about 06:10 to 22:10, to the airport from about 05:30 to 21:30.
- Route 34 runs to Hospital Son Espases, which is the one to know if you are visiting someone.
- Four Aerotib coaches skip Palma entirely: A11 to Camp de Mar, A32 to Can Picafort, A42 to Cala Bona, A51 to Campos.
- All of them board on the ground floor at Arrivals and on floor 2 at Departures.
- TIB fares are charged in zone hops, 0 to 4, and no journey ever costs more than the four hop fare.
- Palma's own city buses are outside the TIB system, so the A1 and A2 are priced separately by EMT.

- Five euros is an airport fare, and Palma makes no secret of it. The A1 and A2 are EMT city buses but they carry an airport price that the rest of the network does not.
- The 1.15 EUR transfer price is the loophole worth knowing. If your journey starts on a TIB regional bus, the EMT airport leg is charged as a connection rather than a fresh ride.
- The resident fare of 1.00 EUR needs a citizen card, which a visitor will not have.
- A taxi becomes competitive at three or four people, which is not usually true of airport buses.
