Cordoba (ODB): the bus runs to your flight, and the night taxi costs three times the day one
Aucorsa line 78 is a special airport service with no fixed clock timetable: it leaves the city 90 minutes before a departure and leaves the airport when a flight lands. The fixed taxi fare goes from 12 to 36 euro depending on the hour.
- Line 78 is a special airport service, not a normal city route. It is run by Aucorsa.
- Towards the airport it leaves Plaza de Colon Norte 90 minutes before a flight departure.
- From the airport it leaves immediately on the arrival of a flight. There is no clock timetable to memorise.
- It calls at Ronda de Tejares, Avenida de Cervantes, the Renfe railway and bus station and Republica Argentina on the way, so it works for the AVE station as well as the centre.
- The airport stop is on floor 0, in the public area.
- The taxi fare to the Cordoba urban area is fixed, not metered.
- 12.00 euro on weekdays between 06:00 and 21:00.
- 27.50 euro at night, on weekends and on holidays.
- 36.00 euro in the small hours of Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays, and over the Nuestra Senora de la Salud fair and around Christmas.
- Add 9.80 euro if your destination is in Cordoba municipality but outside the urban area.
- Radio Taxi is +34 957 764 444, and the airport information line is +34 957 764 676.
The bus is tied to flights
- Aucorsa line 78 is described by Aena as a special airport service. It does not run to a clock timetable.
- Into the airport: buses leave Plaza de Colon Norte 90 minutes before each flight departure.
- Out of the airport: buses leave immediately when a flight arrives.
- The route is long and useful. Plaza de Colon Norte, Ronda de Tejares, Avenida de Cervantes, the Renfe railway and bus station, Republica Argentina, Avenida del Aeropuerto 1 and 2, Parque de las Avenidas, Hospital Quiron, Cruce Casillas, the petrol station, Bar Miguelon, Urbanizacion Maravillas del Aeropuerto, Festivales del Sur, Bar Plata and Aeroclub.
- The Renfe stop matters. Cordoba is an AVE station an hour from Madrid and 40 minutes from Seville, and many people arriving at this airport are heading for a train.
- The airport stop is on floor 0 in the public area.
