Tenerife South Airport (TFS) to the resorts and Santa Cruz
TITSA buses leave from Terminal floor 0. A day travelcard is 10 EUR for unlimited island travel and usually beats buying singles.
- The ten+ day travelcard is 10 EUR and gives unlimited travel across Tenerife for 24 hours.
- A seven day card is 50 EUR, and the card itself costs 2 EUR.
- The wallet version can be shared between travellers, topped up from 2 EUR to 100 EUR.
- A same day return is 10 percent cheaper than two singles, on journeys of 20 km or more.
- Line 40 serves Los Cristianos and Costa Adeje, line 10 goes to Santa Cruz, line 711 runs at night and line 415 covers San Isidro.
- Line 343 links the two Tenerife airports for 9.70 EUR, and carries on to Costa Adeje for 12.40 EUR.
- The airport calls the 343 a 50 minute non stop run; TITSA's own timetable for the line says 100 minutes, so allow the longer figure.
Buy the day card
- 10 EUR, 24 hours, the whole island. For anyone making more than one journey on arrival day, this is almost always cheaper than singles.
- 50 EUR buys seven days on the same terms.
- The card costs 2 EUR on top, and the wallet version is shareable, which matters for couples and families.
- Singles are priced by route and can be paid in cash or by card, with 10 percent off a same day return over 20 km.
Where the buses go
| Line | Route |
|---|---|
| 40 | Costa Adeje station, Los Cristianos, airport |
| 10 | Santa Cruz, Cruce Caletillas, Cruce San Isidro, airport |
| 711 | Santa Cruz, airport, Los Cristianos, Costa Adeje, at night |
| 415 | El Fraile, airport, San Isidro |
| 343 | Tenerife Norte airport to Tenerife Sur airport |
- All of them stop at Terminal floor 0, Arrivals.
- The 711 is the night line, which is what makes late arrivals workable without a taxi.
The 343 and its two journey times
- The airport's page says the 343 runs between the two airports non stop in 50 minutes.
- TITSA's own page for line 343 gives 100 minutes.
- Plan on the operator's number. If you are connecting between Tenerife North and South, treat the crossing as an hour and three quarters, not as under an hour.
- The fare is 9.70 EUR, or 12.40 EUR through to Costa Adeje. Both are within a euro or two of the 10 EUR day card, so buy the card instead.
