La Gomera (GMZ): the buses wait for the flight
Lines 6 and 7 leave the airport after each arrival and run to the airport before each departure. There is no separate clock timetable to work from.
- Two bus routes serve the airport. Line 6 to Valle Gran Rey and line 7 to San Sebastian de La Gomera, the island capital.
- Both leave the airport following flight arrivals. You do not need to make a connection.
- Line 6 leaves for the airport 2 hours before a departure.
- Line 7 leaves for the airport 1 hour 45 minutes before a departure.
- Line 6 also serves Chipude, El Cercado, Las Hayas and Alajero on its way across the island.
- The stop is outside the terminal.
- Fares are published by GuaguaGomera, the island operator; the information line is +34 922 141 101.
- Taxi: the weekday fare is a 3.85 euro minimum and 1.35 euro per kilometre.
- At night, on Sundays and on holidays that becomes 4.25 euro and 1.55 euro.
- There is a 2.10 euro supplement for a journey to or from airport or port grounds, plus 0.60 euro if you called for the taxi.
- Only take a taxi from the signed rank. Aena warns about drivers offering rides from elsewhere.
The buses are timed to the aircraft
- The airport is at Alajero, in the south of the island, and the two bus routes that serve it both key off the flight schedule rather than a clock.
- In the other direction both leave after flight arrivals.
- The stop is in the outside area at the terminal.
- GuaguaGomera publishes the fares; the information line is +34 922 141 101.
