Bergerac Airport (EGC) to the town and the Dordogne

Three regional bus lines serve the airport for 2 EUR, all via Bergerac SNCF station, but every one of them must be booked before 5pm the day before.

  • Tickets are 2 EUR, whichever line you take.
  • You must reserve your seat before 17:00 the day before, and before 17:00 on Friday for a Monday journey.
  • This is the trap at Bergerac. Turn up without a booking and there may be no bus at all.
  • Line 3 goes to Perigueux, line 4 to Eymet and Marmande, line 4A to Issigeac and Villeneuve sur Lot.
  • All three call at Bergerac SNCF station, so the town and the railway are covered by any of them.
  • Book by telephone on 0970 870 870, at no surcharge.

Cheap, but only if you plan

  • 2 EUR a ticket. That is the good news, and it applies to all three routes.
  • The bad news is the reservation rule: seats must be booked before 5pm the day before travel, and before 5pm on Friday for a Monday journey.
  • These are on demand rural services. Without a booking the bus may not run at all.
