Metz-Nancy (ETZ): book the shuttle 24 hours ahead or there is no shuttle

The airport shuttles are run by a tour operator, strictly on prior reservation at least 24 hours before departure and paid online. There is no turn-up option.

  • The shuttles are operated by DMA Dupasquier, a tour operator, not a bus company.
  • They link the airport with Metz, Nancy, Lorraine TGV and Pont-a-Mousson, in both directions, for all commercial flights.
  • Access is exclusively by prior reservation. The airport's wording is "exclusivement sur reservation prealable".
  • Book at least 24 hours before the shuttle departs, with payment online on the operator's site.
  • There is no walk-up. If you have not booked, plan a taxi.
  • The airport has 1,300 parking spaces and no reservation is needed for them, normally.
  • But the passenger car park is closed from 1 September 2026, for a papal visit to Lorraine Aeroport.
  • A free overflow car park and free shuttles replace it for the duration; a security officer on site directs passengers.
  • Carpooling is encouraged during that period, and passengers with reduced mobility may use the dropoff area in front of the terminal.
  • Parking anywhere around the terminal outside marked spaces is strictly forbidden while this lasts.
  • Taxis wait in a reserved lane in front of the terminal. Taxis Metz: 03 87 56 91 92. Taxis Nancy: 03 83 37 65 37.
  • The airport is at Goin, about 25 km south of Metz and 35 km north of Nancy.

The shuttle, and the 24 hours

  • DMA Dupasquier runs the shuttles, linking Lorraine Aeroport with the stations at Metz, Nancy, Lorraine TGV and Pont-a-Mousson.
  • They cover all the airport's commercial flights, in both directions.
  • Access is exclusively by prior reservation, at the latest 24 hours before the shuttle leaves, with payment online on the operator's website.
  • That is a hard constraint, not a recommendation. Deciding on arrival is not an option here.

Parking, and the closure

  • The airport normally has 1,300 spaces and takes no reservations.
  • Payment is at the automatic machines on the arrivals level, at the exit barriers by card only, or with the reception host.
  • From 1 September 2026 the passenger car park is closed for a papal visit to Lorraine Aeroport.
  • A free overflow car park is provided, with free shuttles to the terminal. A security officer on site directs passengers to it.
  • Carpooling is encouraged during the closure.
  • Passengers with reduced mobility may use the dropoff area in front of the terminal.
  • Parking around the terminal outside authorised spaces is strictly forbidden during this period.

Taxi

  • Taxis stand in a reserved lane in front of the terminal, and can be booked in advance.
  • Taxis Metz: 03 87 56 91 92. Taxis Nancy: 03 83 37 65 37.

Where this is

  • The airport is at Route de Vigny, 57420 Goin, in Moselle.
  • About 25 km south of Metz and 35 km north of Nancy, which is why it serves both and sits close to neither.
