Carcassonne Airport (CCF) to the town and the Cite
The RTCA shuttle costs 6 EUR, meets every flight, and the ticket then works all day across the whole town network.
- The shuttle is 6 EUR, free for children under five.
- The ticket is valid all day and allows connections onto every RTCA line, urban and otherwise.
- It serves the Medieval Cite, Square Gambetta, the SNCF station at Port du Canal and place Davilla.
- It leaves the airport about 25 minutes after each flight lands.
- Going out, the timetable is built to put you at the airport an hour before departure.
- Buy from the driver or in the RTCA app. There is wifi and USB charging on board.
One ticket, the whole day
- 6 EUR buys the shuttle and then works as a day ticket on the rest of the RTCA network.
- That matters at Carcassonne because the Cite, the walled city everyone comes for, is a bus ride from the modern town.
- Children under five travel free.
The stops
- The Medieval Cite, which is the reason most people fly here.
- Square Gambetta, in the middle of the lower town.
- The SNCF station at Port du Canal. Coming out of the station, the stop is immediately past the car park on your left.
- Place Davilla.
The timetable
- Flight based, not clockface. Departures from the airport are about 25 minutes after each arrival, once passengers are off.
- In the other direction it aims to deliver you an hour before your flight, which is the right amount of time at an airport this size.
- Tickets from the driver or the RTCA app, with wifi and USB sockets on board.
