Montpellier (MPL): tram 1 to Sud de France, then shuttle 620

From the centre, take tram line 1 towards Odysseum to Gare Montpellier Sud de France, then the airport shuttle 620. The combined ticket is three euro.

  • From the city centre take tram line 1 towards "Odysseum" to the stop "Gare Montpellier Sud de France".
  • From there take the Navette Aeroport Montpellier, line 620.
  • The shuttle takes about 25 minutes.
  • A shuttle-only ticket is 2 euro. Free for children under 5.
  • A shuttle plus tram ticket is 3 euro. The tram part is free only for children under 3.
  • Tickets are sold on board the shuttle.
  • Line 620 is run by Herault Transport. Information on +33 4 34 88 89 99.
  • There is one wheelchair space on the shuttle. Wheelchair users are asked to warn the operator, Courrier du Midi, on +33 4 67 06 03 37.
  • For a Tuesday to Friday journey, call the day before, 08:30 to 12:00 or 13:30 to 17:30. For a weekend or Monday journey, call on the Friday.
  • Line 621 also links the airport, at the CCI stop, to the Boirargues tram station, Monday to Friday only, 07:30 to 09:30 and 16:30 to 19:10.
  • Line 621 is aimed at staff and students, not at travellers. Use 620.
  • Gare Montpellier Sud de France is the out-of-town TGV station, not the central Saint-Roch station. Do not confuse the two.

Two stations, and the one you want

  • Gare Montpellier Sud de France is the out-of-town TGV station, southeast of the city, and it is the one the airport shuttle connects to.
  • Montpellier Saint-Roch is the central station. Tram 1 links them, which is why the journey has two legs.
  • Check which station your train ticket names. They are not the same place.

  • The airport shuttle has one wheelchair space.
  • Wheelchair users are asked to warn the operator, Courrier du Midi, on +33 4 67 06 03 37.
  • For travel Tuesday to Friday, call the day before, between 08:30 and 12:00 or 13:30 and 17:30.
  • For weekend or Monday travel, call on the Friday in the same windows.

The other line

  • Line 621 runs between the airport, at the CCI stop, and the Boirargues tram station, Monday to Friday from 07:30 to 09:30 and 16:30 to 19:10.
  • It exists for airport staff and students, as a complement to the 620. For a traveller with luggage the 620 is the one.
