Toulouse Blagnac Airport (TLS) to the city

The airport shuttle costs 9.50 EUR while an ordinary Tisseo ticket is 1.90, so the tram is five times cheaper when it is running.

  • A single trip on the airport shuttle is 9.50 EUR. An ordinary Tisseo ticket, which covers the T2 tram, is 1.90 EUR.
  • Six shuttle trips cost 39.70 EUR and can be shared by a group of up to six people on one journey, which is 6.62 EUR a head rather than 9.50.
  • A 7 day ticket covering the shuttle and the whole network is 23.80 EUR, plus 10.00 EUR for the Pastel card if you do not have one.
  • Every shuttle ticket also covers the whole Tisseo metro, tram and bus network for that journey.
  • Tram line T2 runs from the airport about every 20 minutes, reaching Arenes in 21 minutes and Palais de Justice in 32, both on the metro network.
  • Check whether T2 is running before you count on it. The airport has been flagging an interruption for works at the Blagnac interchange.
  • The airport shuttle goes to Toulouse Matabiau, the main railway station, every 15 minutes, taking 20 to 45 minutes depending on traffic.
  • Contactless works on the shuttle and can carry up to five passengers on one card.

  • The gap between 9.50 and 1.90 is the whole story at Toulouse. The shuttle is a premium product; the T2 tram is an ordinary tram on an ordinary ticket, and it goes to the airport too.
  • The tram is slower to the main station but never gets stuck. The shuttle takes 20 minutes on a good day and 45 on a bad one; the tram takes 21 minutes to Arenes and 32 to Palais de Justice, every time.
  • The six trip ticket can be used by a group of up to six on a single journey, which turns a family transfer into 39.70 EUR rather than 57.00.
  • Every shuttle ticket also covers the rest of the Tisseo network for that trip, which softens the price a little.
  • The 7 day ticket at 23.80 EUR is the buy if you are staying a week and will use the shuttle both ways.

The two routes in

  • Tram line T2 runs from the airport about every 20 minutes. Arenes is 21 minutes away, Palais de Justice 32, and both connect to the metro.
  • The airport shuttle runs to Toulouse Matabiau, the main railway station, every 15 minutes, in 20 to 45 minutes depending on traffic.
  • The shuttle does not run on 1 May.

Before you rely on the tram

  • The airport has been flagging an interruption to T2 for works at the Blagnac interchange hub, with the line eventually to be recast as the Ligne Aero.
  • Check the current status on the airport or Tisseo site before assuming the cheap option exists on your day.

Paying

  • Contactless bank card or phone works on the shuttle, and one card can cover up to five passengers.
