- For two people with luggage the taxi is often the sensible choice, given the change.
Two vehicles, or one taxi
- Bus 02 on the Fil Bleu network calls at the airport and runs to the Vaucanson terminus at Les Douets.
- Tram line A starts there and runs the length of the city to Gare Vinci, the railway station, every day.
- Neither is an airport service, so both are priced as ordinary city journeys.
The taxi option
- 15 to 30 EUR to the town centre, the airport's own figure, varying with distance and the time of day.
- The airport is close to the city, which is why the range is that narrow.
Onward
- Gare Vinci is the TGV station, an hour from Paris Montparnasse.
- Tours is the base for the Loire chateaux, most of which are reached by regional train or coach from that station.
