Tours Val de Loire Airport (TUF) to the city

Fil Bleu bus 02 connects the airport to the Vaucanson tram terminus, from where tram A runs into Tours. A taxi is 15 to 30 EUR.

  • There is no direct airport bus into Tours. The connection is bus then tram.
  • Fil Bleu bus line 02 serves the airport, running towards the Les Douets Vaucanson stop.
  • Tram line A runs from Vaucanson through the city to Gare Vinci, every day.
  • Gare Vinci is the railway station, so the tram delivers you to the TGV.
  • A taxi to the town centre is 15 to 30 EUR, depending on distance and time of day.
  • For two people with luggage the taxi is often the sensible choice, given the change.

Two vehicles, or one taxi

  • Bus 02 on the Fil Bleu network calls at the airport and runs to the Vaucanson terminus at Les Douets.
  • Tram line A starts there and runs the length of the city to Gare Vinci, the railway station, every day.
  • Neither is an airport service, so both are priced as ordinary city journeys.

The taxi option

  • 15 to 30 EUR to the town centre, the airport's own figure, varying with distance and the time of day.
  • The airport is close to the city, which is why the range is that narrow.

Onward

  • Gare Vinci is the TGV station, an hour from Paris Montparnasse.
  • Tours is the base for the Loire chateaux, most of which are reached by regional train or coach from that station.
