- Dyce railway station is nearby but is not at the terminal, so the bus is the practical choice.
The 727
- From 5 GBP for a single, published by the airport rather than by a guide.
- Every 15 minutes at the frequent times of day, dropping to every 30 at quieter ones.
- It stops at the terminal door, so there is no walk with bags.
The 2026 change
- The refreshed 727 became the first 24 hour cross City and Shire bus route. An early flight from Aberdeen no longer needs a taxi.
- That also covers late arrivals, which at a northern airport in winter is the case that matters.
The railway
- Dyce station is close to the airport and on the line north from Aberdeen, but it is not inside the airport.
- For most arrivals the 727 is simpler, and it goes to Union Square, which is where the railway and bus stations are anyway.
