Gatwick Airport (LGW) to London
Gatwick Express reaches Victoria in 30 minutes twice an hour. Thameslink takes 30 to 45 and serves London Bridge, Blackfriars, Farringdon and St Pancras, which is usually the more useful list.

- The Express is a brand, not a monopoly. All four leave from the same station under the terminal.
- Ask where you are actually going. Victoria is convenient for the west end and for coaches; London Bridge and Farringdon are better for the City; St Pancras is better for anywhere on the northern lines and for the Eurostar.
- Thameslink runs through central London, so a single ticket often replaces a train plus a tube fare.
- Clapham Junction on Southern is the change for south west London and for Waterloo.
