The DLR runs from the terminal to Bank in 23 minutes and Canning Town in 6. First train 05:25 on weekdays, last 00:50.

The DLR station is part of the terminal. No shuttle, no walk to a car park.
Bank in 23 minutes, which is the fastest airport-to-City-of-London journey in Britain.
Canning Town in 6 minutes, for the Jubilee line to Waterloo, Westminster and London Bridge.
Poplar in 12 minutes and Limehouse in 17, the latter for c2c trains into Fenchurch Street.
Other stops on the way: Pontoon Dock 2 minutes, West Silvertown 3, East India 9, Blackwall 11, West India Quay 15, Shadwell 19.
Weekdays the first westbound train is 05:25 and the last 00:50, with 242 departures across the day.
Sundays run 06:55 to 23:50.
The DLR is in Zone 3, so contactless and Oyster work exactly as they do anywhere else in London, with no airport premium.

London City Airport's DLR station is built into the airport. You walk off the concourse onto the platform. Nothing else in London is like this, and it is the reason the airport exists in the form it does.
The DLR is in Zone 3, and there is no airport supplement. Contactless or Oyster, tapped in and out, and daily capping applies.

Bank: 23 minutes. Straight into the City of London, which is what the airport is for.
Canning Town: 6 minutes. Change here for the Jubilee line, which is the fast way to Waterloo, Westminster, Bond Street and London Bridge.
Poplar: 12 minutes, for the Canary Wharf branches.
Limehouse: 17 minutes, for c2c into Fenchurch Street and out to Essex.
Shadwell: 19 minutes, for the London Overground.
The smaller stops on the way are Pontoon Dock at 2 minutes, West Silvertown at 3, East India at 9, Blackwall at 11 and West India Quay at 15.

Sunday: 06:55 to 23:50.
Because the airport itself has a night curfew and does not operate around the clock, the DLR hours cover the whole flight schedule comfortably.

London City sits in the Royal Docks, in the middle of the city rather than out beyond the M25.
Its runway is short and the approach steep, so only certain aircraft and specially certified crews can use it. That is why the route map is mostly short-haul European business destinations.
The airport closes overnight and for most of Saturday afternoon and evening, a condition of its planning permission. Check the schedule before assuming a late Saturday flight exists.
