Getting from Bolzano Airport to the city

The bus, and the 600 metres

• SASA runs public buses 10A and 10B at regular intervals between Bolzano airport and the city centre.
• The nearest stop is at the beginning of the road leading to the airport, not at the terminal.
• From there it is about 600 metres on foot to the terminal entrance. The airport publishes a PDF with directions from the stop, which tells you the walk is not entirely self-evident.

The train

• Take a Trenitalia service or the Venosta line from Bolzano station to Bolzano Sud-Fiera. The airport gives it as under 5 minutes.
• From Bolzano Sud-Fiera, a taxi covers the last stretch in about three minutes.

Taxi

• Taxis can be hailed in front of Bolzano train station and at the airport terminal.
• Station to airport is about 15 minutes.

By car

• From the Brennero motorway (A22), take the "Bolzano Sud" exit and follow signs for "Aeroporto". It is 3 km from there.
• From the city centre, head for Piazza Giuseppe Verdi, cross Ponte Loreto, left on Via Roma, then right along the left bank of the Isarco, following signs for the airport.
• The airport is about 6 km from the city centre.
