Abruzzo Airport (PSR) to Pescara
TUA4FLY connects the terminal with the Pescara Centrale underpass for 3.00 EUR, valid 90 minutes across the Pescara and Chieti area, card only.
- TUA4FLY costs 3.00 EUR and runs between the airport and the Pescara Centrale railway underpass.
- The ticket is valid 90 minutes across the entire Pescara and Chieti metropolitan area, not just for the airport run.
- On board it is card only. No cash is accepted, which catches people out.
- You must activate the ticket before boarding. Buying it in the app is not enough on its own.
- The 3.00 EUR price applies from 1 July 2026, when the trial period ended.
- A combined Trenitalia Airlink ticket also exists, letting you buy the rail journey and this connection together.
What 3.00 EUR buys
- Not an airport transfer, a metropolitan ticket. Ninety minutes across Pescara and Chieti, which covers the connection at the far end as well as the ride in.
- The airport end is the terminal; the city end is the railway underpass at Pescara Centrale, so the mainline station and the bus are effectively the same place.
- The price has been 3.00 EUR since 1 July 2026, when the experimental phase of the service finished.
Two things that go wrong
- There is no cash on board. Payment is by credit or debit card only, so a traveller who has just landed with notes and no card has a problem.
- The ticket has to be activated, by hand, before you board. Buying it in the TuaGO app and staying seated is not a valid ticket.

- The TuaGO app is the intended route, and it lets you activate at the right moment.
- On board by card, if you have not.
- Through Trenitalia as the Airlink combined sale, if you are arriving or leaving by rail and want one transaction.
